Gaiwan Tea Class

Join us Sunday, May 5th 11:30 am to 1 pm for a Gaiwan tea-making class. Learn how to use a traditional gaiwan to brew tea with Tea Sommelier Ryan Baker of "The Tea Side of Life". Tea will be provided by tea connoisseur Austin's Tea.
This first class will be a free event in collaboration with ODEON Social Club, SAIKA Cafe events, and Philly Asian Queer (PAQ). Please RSVP to reserve your spot! Only 12 seats are available!
What is a Gaiwan? A lidded bowl typically made from ceramic or porcelain used to brew tea on the classic Chinese method.
